Weekend Reads

I’ve been reading some great posts by other bloggers lately, so I want to share them with you!

**Go read about Jenn’s transformation. She guest-posted earlier in the month for me, and now you can read more about how amazing her journey has been!

**Ever thought about a mission statement for yourself? I am so inspired by Chantel and hers that I hope to craft one for myself as well. Someday. Over the rainbow.

**This week, I really loved the post shared by Rita on the Embrace the Ordinary link-up. It is a touching story about a boy, a bicycle, and prayer.

**The advice in this post speaks to my heart. I’m still plugging on through the organizing and shtuff (messes like holes in ceilings…), but the advice to “Sit down, take a deep breath and ask Mother Mary to take over for five minutes…” is just brilliant and soothing and so needed for my life right now.

**Books. Picture books. Don’t we love them? I do. Lately I wish I had more time to read them with the littles…and this post by Elizabeth Foss has so inspired me! Go read it, homeschool moms.

**Are you the type to read the Sunday Mass readings before Mass? I want to be that type, but I’m not yet that type. One of my ideals for our family is to read at least the Sunday Gospel together, talk about it, and maybe have an entire prayer time with it. Maybe I should add that to my planning for this fall, whaddya think? Anyhow, I’ll start for myself at least, this weekend. Find the Sunday Mass readings before Sunday at the USCCB website, or EWTN website. ON Sunday, of course you can still find them on those sites, but you can also find them at Blessed Is She. BlessedIsShelogo

Then, starting Monday, the daily devotions will be up! Do sign up if you haven’t yet, and spread the word!
