It’s no secret. We homeschool 3 of our 5 kids. I love it!
Because when we started, the local schools weren’t up to our standards and we wanted to give a faith-based education. Now, mostly the same reasons. Also, homeschooling allows our family flexibility when we need it most, since my husband is in the Air Force and his schedule can be very crazy!

If you mean the books we use, it varies and I pick and choose from various sources. I don’t follow any one particular “school” or “box-set” of books. As for the philosophy behind how I teach, I lean towards classical–we love books, Latin is fun to learn, etc–but there is also a bit of Charlotte Mason thrown in, as well as the occasional “un-school” season.

Don’t compare to the public school, private school, or your best friend who homeschools.
Enjoy learning with your children.
