20+ Things That Make Me Happy
Because I want to, and counting our blessings makes for a more positive outlook, I give you 20+ things (in no particular order) that make me happy.
Join me, won’t you?
1-Sleeping children. They’re so peaceful.
2-Hearing children sing
3-Crossing things off my to-do list
4-Meeting online friends in person. Some of the neatest ladies I’ve met through an online group, and I’m so grateful to call them friends.
5-Going on date-nights, date-days, or doing anything fun with Fence (my handsome hubby)
6-Watching as my children experience hiking, and listening to their grumbling turn into laughter and excitement
7-Bright white clouds against a perfectly blue sky
8-Listening to great homilies at Mass
9-Going to the farmer’s market
10-Laughing when Fence hacks my computer and leaves messages for me
11-Getting some time just for me
12-Going on runs
13-Making delicious food at home, with help from the kids, and everyone enjoying it together
14-Watching comedy, Doctor Who, Bones, and The Avengers with Fence
15-The feeling of accomplishment when homeschool lessons are planned
16-Sewing (even though I’m not the best)
17-Sharing a good cup of coffee with Fence, the only person who can make a cup I’ll drink
18-Scoring a sweet deal while shopping
19-Making others smile
20-Turning up a good song on the radio and dancing like I don’t care when no one is watching.
21-Working out
22-Having quiet moments alone to pray
23-Hitting “publish” on a blog
So, that’s me in a nutshell, but there is so much more to life that delights, isn’t there? Comment with some of your happy things, and link with a blog if you play along! I’m going to tag some friends to get this party started. 🙂

I am SO glad I was tagged. I didn’t want to ask, BUT, I could totally use a gratitude list today!
xo
Can’t wait to read it!
You must have known who to tag in this. I could also really use a gratitude list today. I am thin on patience, but I have to remember I am blessed. Going to work on this now 😉 xxoo
Hugs, Jenna! Can’t wait to read your list.
I Love this! It reminds me of Ann Voscamp’s book Thousand Gifts…such a good practice to get into doing! Thanks for sharing Gina!
I haven’t read that yet! Is it worth adding to my list of hopeful reads?
Thanks for the tag Gina! It was so much fun to list out 20 things I’m grateful for/that make me smile.
Sleeping children – oh my yes! I love Lucy to pieces, and sometimes I need her to be asleep and still for me to really really appreciate her.
