My 31 day series is over, and I will be first to admit it was rather imperfect. I learned some things along the way, though, an I’m rounding out my daily posting with a bit of sharing what I learned.
I don’t like blogging that much, or I like it enough that 31 days in row is just too much for me.
My writing voice is more natural when I blog when I want…not daily.
Lots of ideas, oodles of them, came to me. But I didn’t blog them because I wanted to devote more of me to them, not just a quick 400 words that aren’t coherent.
I really don’t like to blog without photos, and that slowed me down.
Non-writing nights and days are essential. Too much writing and not enough living leads me to have nothing to write about.
And…not enough time spent away from the computer sucked away my other (better) creative juices, for things like seasonal decorating and fall menu plans.
I am glad the 31 days are over. I super appreciate each of you who stayed around and encouraged me, and those of you wwho are new readers. I promise my posts will only get better and I won’t flood your inbox or bloglovin’ feed with daily mediocre posts anymore.
Do stay tuned this weekend, I have Embrace the Ordinary on Saturday and a giveaway you don’t want to miss. Think Advent.
Also, tomorrow is Meatless Friday, so come back for ideas!
