Sorry, I had to do it. Let’s sing it all day! 😉
No, really, though? Do you? Want to build a snowman? It doesn’t have to be a snowman…
Here in CO, we’ve had weather in the 60s for a week or so, so our snowman-building isn’t happening, but seeing as March and April usually bring more snow, we’ll be at it again soon enough. And all my friends in Canada and on the East Coast are still buried up to their ears in snow, so this is for you. And us in CO for the next snow. And bonus! You don’t have to have a lot of snow for these snowmen, so even folks in crazy places like the middle of GA or SC who get wacky random snow can probably pull this off.
This idea is not mine. It was a combination effort from my kids and my mother-in-law, so all the credit is theirs.
All you need is snow, a plate (if you want to build snowmen indoors), and some water-color pencils.
Step One: Build a snowman, or alien, or whatever.
Step Two: Decorate with the pencils! Voila! Have fun!
If you want, you can move your snow creations back outside into the cold so they last longer. My kids created quite the family of snow people when they did this!
