Embrace the Ordinary, June 2017

As life goes, it’s busy and unpredictable and predictably busy, as well as much more enjoyable spent outdoors than at the computer facing a computer screen.

Somewhat odd, for a girl who has blogged for several years, enjoys digital photography, and does digital design work for her shop.

But you guys, it’s June and it’s beautiful outside and I’m going to be at the beach and the park and reading books to my kids while the lazy days of summer are upon us. For now, let’s return to Embrace the Ordinary!

This shot is from Mother’s Day. I love sharing time with my kiddos in the kitchen, helping them learn some basic skills and maybe even help them develop a love for cooking. It’s even better when Daddy is the one showing them around the kitchen. It was a great brunch they made for Mother’s Day!
