Embrace the Ordinary vol. 13

“…there is something holy, something divine hidden in the most ordinary situations, and it is up to each one of you to discover it.”  St. Josemaria Escriva, Passionately Loving the World
This week flew by again, and while I’m trying desperately to keep up with my 31 Days of Imperfectly Domestic, I’m sitting here wishing I had a few more hours each day to pick up the messes left behind, like tissues I can see from my chair that Firecracker carries around pretending to blow his nose into, and the cutting mat I moved down to the playroom so I could make some headway on a quilt I’m going to send to Kenya with Craft Hope , and the every day regular messes. Sigh. Instead this week, I’ve been taking some time for me in the evenings, to relax, sit with my girls, and then watch movies (Back the Future!) with Fence. Did you know that next year is the “future” in the Back to the Future? Yuppers, 2015.

  1. So glad you were able to watch movies with your girls. Love that photo! And, I am amazed at how you are keeping up with everything. And, from here, your content has all been lovely, beautiful, and inspiring. True story. 🙂

    1. I’m keeping up by starting blogs on my phone while I nurse the baby to sleep! And then I finish them too late at night when I should be in bed. 😛

Thank you for your kind words. I just love when you stop by and comment. I feel like I have a supportive friend in you!
