Links I’m Loving

|

I’m terrible about having a tidy browser when surfing the web. Currently there are 19 tabs open. I have the worst time following-through reading articles, sharing them, and saving them. Last month I started this post with some favorite links so I could share all at once! Here they are, in no particular order.

Blessed Is She’s 2019-2020 Planner (mini and full size are available and they’re shipping! These have been so helpful to me keeping track of family life + liturgical feasts + meal planning (meal planner in the full size only). Mine just arrived last week, and I’m so looking forward to opening the box and flipping through the pages.

We’re loving the reflections (and artwork!) in the kids’ devotional.

This new devotional for KIDS from BIS. Ok, you know I love everything from them…I also helped write for this book, on the virtue of faith. It’s a swell book on virtue for kids (and parents!) to study and pray with. We’re reading it together a few times a week. Sometimes I read aloud, and sometimes one of my sons reads the verse and reflection aloud. Here’s to growing together in these virtues!

And I just spotted a new candle! I loved their candle from Advent.

Padre Pio’s relics will be traveling the US and Canada! Go venerate them and pray for his intercession if you will be near enough!

Eleven prayers that take less than five seconds to pray. No joke.

Teaching our daughters about their cycles has more impact than we probably realized before. This research is compelling and so empowering for girls to see how bad days pass and they don’t have to respond with crazy actions to crazy feelings. Granted, not all girls feel so strongly as the population studied and mentioned in this post, but some do. I’m digging in this summer to give my girls more knowledge about their bodies so they can be empowered to make healthy choices and advocate for their overall health.

One of my favorite ways to shop for clothes is online, and when possible I shop for myself and my kids from ThredUP. It saves money (a huge deal when I’m shopping for 6 kids!) and helps cut down on clothing waste, since the clothing is previously owned. Check it out if you haven’t! Using my link gets both of us $10 towards an order.

Other news, just for fun: I’m trying a running streak this summer. So for, I’ve run 5 days in a row. I mentioned it on Instagram, starting it “officially” on June 1, although I also ran on May 31. So far, so good. Ha! My hope is to enjoy it, have a 1-mile run (or slow jog, even) each day to be a sanity-saver while we’re packing and moving.
