I love to have delicious food for our family. There was a time when I hated cooking. There was a time when I could only cook chicken and bake cookies.
And then Fence and I got married and subscribed to cable (how exciting!) and watched the Food Network. Suddenly, cooking was exciting!
I tried all kinds of things. Wontons. Chili. Shredded beef.
Some things failed, like cantaloup soup. Just don’t. Or some crazy crockpot meal that had rice and canned salmon. It smelled like cat food.
Or the time I accidentally thawed homemade apple cider and used it instead of chicken stock…in jambalaya. Oh man. That was the DUMBEST thing. I’ve since redeemed myself and my jambalaya.
We also like to eat with in our faith and liturgical celebrations in mind.
I’ll update this page as often as I can, with links to posts of favorite recipes. To start out, here are all the Meatless Friday posts!
