Sonflower Mug

Description

The Sonflower Mug, named for Jesus the Son of God, and flowers, which are symbolic of His love for us.

• ☀️ The sun, which gives us light, symbolizes Jesus’ Light, and represents to me Jesus’ new mercies every morning.
• 🌼 Wildflowers, which reveal God’s creativity and lavish love. I can never get over how they’ll grow from cracks in sidewalks! Wildflowers are like little bouquets given to us from the Father, the Lover of our souls, who loves to surprise and delight us. You might also think of a sunflower, which always turns towards the sun, just like we strive to turn towards the Son of God with our whole lives.
• 👑 A monstrance, with its beautiful rays of gold like a crown for our Lord, His Precious Body hidden in the appearance of bread in the Eucharist.

This mug is handmade by women fleeing homelessness, sex-trafficking, and domestic abuse. They are crafted with care outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Due to the handmade nature, each pottery embellishment will have slight variations in color.
